About

Chris Gipple, aka Gipp, is a psychedelic poster artist and illustrator living and working in Baltimore, MD. Gipp grew up in Annapolis, where he spent his time skateboarding, playing music, and drawing. As a teenager, he began to create merch designs, album art, posters, and t-shirts for local bands, and quickly gained a reputation in Annapolis. As Gipp continued to build momentum as an artist, he graduated from Towson University in 2013 with a Bachelors in computer science. After graduating, he immediately started to work as a freelance graphic designer & illustrator, taking on as many projects as possible while gaining experience.

In 2014, Gipp, along with three friends founded a skate & surf-inspired apparel brand known as Infinite Rot Clothing. Gipp started churning out loud, psychedelic graphic tees and was introduced to the craft of screen printing.

In 2017, Gipp founded Nightshift Creative, a creative agency, with close friend, Miles Feldman. Nightshift specializes in the creation and growth of unique, impactful, and long-lasting brand experiences. Gipp currently acts as creative director for Nightshift, while also incorporating his illustration chops as part of the agencies branding services.
